The primate tour also includes visiting the two national parks which are famous for tracking both the mountain gorillas as well as the chimpanzees. These national parks also include; Kibale National park and Bwindi impenetrable National park.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park
The tour guide will also pick you up from the airport or at the hotel and you begin your drive to Kibale National park. You also have a stopover at the equator for photos and experiments as well as lunch along the way. You will get to the park and then check in at your Lodge as you prepare to enjoy nature walk with in the park were you will be able to view the many animals.

Day 2: Enjoy chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest
Enjoy breakfast and then drive to the headquarters for your briefing from the rangers. You will after start your primate walk which may also last for 2 to 4 hours and this will also depend on the movement of these primates. The walk is also restricted to three groups of 6 people each in the morning and the same number in the afternoon. After the trek, you return to the lodge for your lunch as you also prepare for a visit to Bigodi wetland and then carry out bird watching.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national Park
Enjoy breakfast in the morning and then depart southwards to the home of mountain gorillas in Uganda. You will then arrive late in the afternoon and then check in at your lodge. You can also opt for a guided walk in the forest to the water falls or a village walk around Buhoma Area. Later in the evening, relax at the lodge after.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
Have breakfast in the morning and then continue to the headquarters to have your briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. You will get to enjoy the fauna and flora of this park and then spend some time with these beautiful giants. After meeting with them, and taking the photos, get back to the lodge for a late lunch and then go for a quick late lunch and then prepare for a community walk in the nearby villages.

Day 5: Departure back to Kampala
Enjoy breakfast in the morning and then start your departure back to Kampala and have lunch enroute and a stopover at Mpambire drum makers place. You will also proceed with the journey arriving in Kampala late evening.
