Tour Overview
Queen Elizabeth National Park is also known by many as the most beautiful park in Africa. It’s set in the west of the great African rift valley, and bordered by the Rwenzori Mountains. The park includes dozens of mirror surfaced crater lakes, salty and the fresh water lakes. There are also 95 mammal including 10 primate species including; the chimps, vervet monkeys, blue monkeys, red tailed monkeys, L’hoest monkey, Colobus as well as the 20 predators which include; the leopards, lions, spotted hyena, antelopes, hippos, elephants and the 610 bird species.

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park
You will also met our company guide who will then transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National park. You will then have a short game drive along the channel track that welcomes you into this park as we also proceed for a check in to the lodge. This channel track also runs with the Kazinga channel as you drive slowly towards the Katunguru gate. You will also view the warthogs, water bucks, elephants, waterbuck. So depending on the time limits, you may also like to enjoy a game drive in the northern sector of the park, the baboon cliff is also famous for its beautiful scenery and the good views of the shadows of the mountains of the moon. After you will drive back to the lodge through the large savannah grassland as you see some wildlife enroute.

Day 2: Morning game drive & a boat cruise
Enjoy a game drive in the northern part of the park along the Kasenyi track in search for the lions, elephant’s solitary buffaloes, and the lions. We shall also have an excellent opportunity of viewing about at every animal here at very close range. You will get back at the lodge for your breakfast, before heading out for launch trip along the Kazinga channel. This will also give you an opportunity of viewing wildlife up close, the hippos, buffalos, and the crocodiles. The shores of the channel are also home to an array of birds including the pink backed pelicans, saddle billed stork and the malachite kingfishers.

So early in the morning after enjoying breakfast, you will get to visit the katwe salt works and then start your departure back to Kampala.
