Tour Overview
This safari starts and ends in Uganda. It offers a wide range of adventure including gorilla trekking, chimpanzee tracking and the wildlife safaris. The main highlight of the safari is gorilla trekking in Uganda's Bwindi impenetrable National park. Uganda hosts almost half of the population of the mountain gorillas. The estimated population of the gorillas is about 480 mountain gorillas (as per 2012 Gorilla Census) living in two national parks; Bwindi impenetrable and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Tourists who have taken an African gorilla trekking tour in Uganda have also wished to have it again and again. Tracking also takes 2-8 hours and this depends on how far the gorillas are feeding or resting from. Once found, you are given 1 hour to stay with these beautiful apes.
